Sadly Tootsie went to God in February 2002 ( in her 17th year) however her unique & wonderful personality is still present in the Boldhart progeny of today. We were lucky to have this wonderful bitch as a foundation. She was very ill as a 4 week old puppy but with true Stafford grit survived. However being so ill and with many painful treatments so young she became ring shy and we had to withdraw her from the ring at 4 months of age. To help her overcome her fear of people we took her to obedience and it wasn't long before she was taking all before her and being the real show off in the class. She was almost 3 when we thought we would give showing another go. At her first outing she won reserve challenge bitch in what was big competition in those days. From there she never looked back. Her next show was in the February and she attained her title at the Greensborough Kennel Club just on 3 months later. By this time she loved the ring and her favourite party trick in the ring was to roll on her back with legs up in the air and bark.
The highlights of her show career were bitch challenge at the SBTCV Champ Show in 1991 at the age of 6 under Frances Sefton NSW and then Best in Show SBTCV Open Show in the same year at the age of 7.
