Fancy was a natural as a show dog from the first time she put her paws in the ring as a baby puppy. A 15" compact bitch she has an outstanding head and eye expression with a great topline. She was Victoria's Top Junior Stafford in 1995 / 96 and also the Top Stafford Bitch ( Winner SBTCV Pointscore Competition ).
Always a consistent winner at all levels winning many in group and in show awards she was also a favourite with the Stafford specialist judges. She won minor puppy in show under Joyce Shorrock UK at the SBTCV Open Show, puppy bitch SBTCV Champ Show - Colin Smith UK. At the 1996 SBTCV Champ Show she was awarded Challenge Bitch & R/Up in Show by Mary Pedler ( Landaulad Prefix ).
Fancy's show career was cut short in her prime as she accidently broke her front incisor teeth. She was rarely shown after the age of 2 ½ as I felt she was unfairly penalised because of the broken teeth. At the age of 5 I decided to show her one more time at the British Terrier Club of NSW under breed specialist Alan Hedges UK. She won open bitch class and reserve Challenge Bitch ( At that time an Australian record entry ) still displaying all the great qualities she showed in her short but spectacular career previously. At the same show her daughter Ch Boldhart Belle of the Ball at the age of 3 ½ months won baby puppy Stafford and then went on to win baby in show. ( There was entry in excess of 60 baby staffords entered).
Fancy has passed her great qualities to her progeny and is the dam of not only good looking but clever staffords as well: Boldhart Barkis Biggins CDX TD owned and much loved by Terry & Alan Tee who was one of the first staffords to obtain their tracking title in Victoria. Other champion progeny : Ch Boldhart Mo Macackie, Ch Boldhart Belle of the Ball, Ch Boldhart Basil Rathbone. She is also the dam of Boldhart Burlington Bertie, Boldhart Fancy Lady and the grand dam of Ch Boldhart Red by Request.
